ViaPlus partners with ZED Digital to integrate new services into drivers’ tolling accounts

• Bringing drivers the convenience of a single platform to manage both toll account and route planning
• A personalized highway experience including drivers’ usage history
• ViaPlus makes a new step towards integrating mobility-as-a-service into its tolling services

This technology partnership will incorporate ZED’s mobility-as-a-service platform with ViaPlus’ signature back-office system, which can be used to manage the customer-facing account-management websites for toll agencies. When drivers are logged into their toll accounts, they will benefit from dynamic transportation data and be able to plan routes based on usage history, see real-time traffic conditions, calculate tolls, and locate roadside services such as EV charging stations and parking. System integration is already underway and a proof-of-concept platform is scheduled for completion in Q4 of 2023.

This initiative demonstrates the commitment of ViaPlus and VINCI Highways to providing drivers with a positive experience by offering technical innovations that include digital and mobile-based services, single-user accounts, and the ability make informed travel choices based on their preferences. It further strengthens ViaPlus’ feature-rich back office system by adding driver-focused MaaS services to its existing solutions for agencies. ViaPlus headquarters in Dallas, Texas are an “Innovation Center of Excellence” of VINCI Concessions, the parent company of VINCI Highways, and mobility-focused technology innovations are central to its core operations.
