ViaPlus Appoints Xavier Defrenne as Chief Executive Officer
ViaPlus announces the appointment of Xavier Defrenne as Chief Executive Officer. Xavier will lead ViaPlus into its next phase of growth, focused on accelerating performance and advancing key strategic priorities.
Throughout his career, Xavier Defrenne has led complex international operations and overseen public-sector client portfolios to deliver business growth and innovation, with a background spanning large-scale program delivery, business development, and technical and operational leadership. He brings 25 years of experience in leadership roles, including more than 20 years dedicated to intelligent transportation systems (ITS), transit, and payment solutions. Xavier joins ViaPlus from Conduent where he held senior roles in the United States and Australia, most recently as Vice President and Program Director for the delivery and operations of Melbourne’s public transport ticketing program, after leading the company’s US transit and fare collection business. Xavier began his career in France, contributing to major industrial programs, including systems developed for Airbus aircraft. He holds a Master of Science in Engineering from the École Nationale d’Ingénieurs de Brest (ENIB) and a Master in Management from HEC Paris and Sup’Aéro.
