Since its June inauguration, ViaPlus' new barrier-free toll system in Daulatpura, India, has successfully processed more than one million vehicle transactions. This milestone reflects not only growing adoption, but the operational strength that supports free-flow tolling at scale.
A key component of any free-flow operation is image review, which supports video tolling by enabling the accurate identification and invoicing of vehicles traveling without an electronic transponder. Success depends on the seamless processing of both transponder and video toll transactions to maintain system accuracy, efficiency, and revenue assurance.
