In the United States, VINCI Highways, through its subsidiary ViaPlus (merged of Cofiroute USA and TollPlus), manages toll services and customer relations on five motorways and expressways in the cities of Austin and Tyler and on the 91 Express Lane in California.
Since signing the contract in March 2018 with the Central Texas Regional Mobility Authority (CTRMA), the independent government agency responsible for managing transportation in Central Texas, ViaPlus (Cofiroute USA) has been managing toll services and customer relations on five highways and expressways in the cities of Austin and Tyler. This includes the busy MoPac and the 71 new toll lanes available to drivers who want to reach Austin International Airport. This network totals 30 million transactions per year. Its smooth operation is essential for traffic conditions on Texas roads and for mobility in general.
In California, VINCI Highways renewed its contract at the beginning of 2020 to operate the 91 Express Lane for a period of seven years, with a view to deploying and operating a new-generation back office and a customer relations centre. VINCI Highways has been operating this 29 km highway between Anaheim and Corona since 1995, one of the world’s first “free-flow” highways.
To ensure operational excellence, VINCI Highways relies on ViaPlus to provide a comprehensive service: from back-office management to customer relations, including data collection, payment and transmission to local authorities.
